Hoffa, also known as The Antidote aka Jermone Brodie aka Maurice Austin aka Big Hoff is the newest affiliation to the Streetborn Entertainment family. His story began in New Jersey in the early 90’s when he was under the guidance of one of Brooklyns best (Milk Dee) of Auto II. Milk moved in Hoffas neighborhood in New Jersey and gave him a sense of balance and the understanding of what it takes to be successful in the music business. At the time of Nas, WuTang, and Biggies arrival, Hoffa stayed busy on the road with Milk, observing the game, seeing things for what they really were on the inside. In 1996, as he was caught up in the streets as many still are today, Jermone Brodie would fall victim to the streets itself, facing 2 weapons possession charges, leaving his music and dreams to be put on hold until his release. Being released in November of 1998, he made his way to Perth Amboy, NJ where he continued pursuing his dream of being the next best thing to happen to Hip Hop, releasing in early 2000, the street single Where its at, with a bonus track titled F.Y.G. Quickly catching the attention of listeners state-wide, Hoffa made his final decision to leave the streets alone and continue to do what had to be done,give it his all to achieve his goals and make his dreams a reality. He released an original album called Antidote and has been featured on several mixtapes, promoting himself worldwide as being the future of Hip Hop. Hoffa is surely considered by many as one of the last of hip-hops heavenly voices. He is currently working with up and coming Hip Hop Producer,Red Diamond of Streetborn Entertainment. continuing to formulate explosive sounds that will soon be heard by the rest of the world on his highly anticipated album titled Promise of a Man, which will include Hot to Def tracks like Twenty Two Days, Crazy, Closed Casket, and many more which will be released in late 2006. His music speaks the truth and his style is loved by many.
